Cupping
Cupping Therapy for Pain Relief & Muscle Recovery in Beverly Hills
How Cupping Works
Cupping applies controlled negative pressure to targeted areas of soft tissue, creating a lifting and separation effect within the muscle and fascial layers. This stimulates localized blood flow, accelerates the clearance of metabolic waste, reduces inflammation, and releases deep-seated muscular tension that manual pressure alone cannot reach. The result is faster recovery, reduced pain, and restored range of motion.

Standalone or Combined — Your Choice
Cupping is available as a dedicated standalone session for patients focused on muscle recovery and pain relief. It is also offered in combination with acupuncture for patients whose conditions involve both structural and neurological components. In our clinical experience, the combination produces results that neither treatment achieves independently — particularly for chronic and treatment-resistant pain patterns.
What to Expect
Your first cupping session begins with a brief clinical assessment to identify the areas of greatest restriction and determine the appropriate cupping technique — stationary, gliding, or flash cupping — based on your specific presentation. Sessions are conducted in a private, controlled environment. Temporary circular marks may appear on the skin following treatment and typically resolve within three to seven days. These marks are not bruises — they reflect the degree of stagnation and tension in the treated tissue.
